Interested In Buying a Merc CLK Cabriolet But Only Have a Provisional Licence,i Have passed my theory but not my actual test.

can i still buy this car beforehand?! :S

Different rules for different states/provinces and countries but where I live, yes, you can even buy a car without a licence.  You just can't register the car and put a lic. plate on it.

Yes you can buy it, if you are paying cash and not financing it. You can't do anything else with it until you have a permanent license and insurance.

yes you can if paying without any finance

but clk's are very powerfull and i would not rrecommendit as a first car. i have just bought a new clk 63 AMG and its lovely to drive and is a fab car but iv been driving for 14 years!! its got a 6.3l engine for god sake. which is eexcessively powerfull and in the hands of an iinexperienceddriver could prove fatal!!!!! its also not the easiest car to handle if something goes wrong!

maybe your not quit thinking of this model but even the lowest powered clk 200 has a 2l turbocharged engine which is quite powerfull for a beginner!!!!

  i just think its not the best car to start off in.
