Depending on where you live..a liquor license may cost you 40grand... 40grand is not going to be anywhere near enough...even if you purchase a franchise of (subway,quiznos, etc) it is going to cost you more than 40grand. And if you have no experience you are just going to lose all your money VERY QUICKLY....

I own 2 restaurants and I spend 40grand a month running them.
