  1. Hey there,

Trinity College Dublin, like other universities has its strengths as do other institutions.

This is the Wikipedia link for it.

This is a link to the students union at Trinity College.

In terms of choosing a university you should look at both the academic area you are interested in and the social aspects of the city.

What is nice about the college is that it is located mainly on one campus in the centre of the city of Dublin.  It is a very old place with a sense of tradition.

If you contact the students union they can tell you a little about student life.

If you are applying from the US you need to checkout funding and visa requirements as well as entry criteria, living in Dublin can be very expensive.

In terms of differences from the US education system the courses are not likely to be either modular or transferable if you change your mind and wish to transfer.  Some courses are 4 years.

Good luck in you studies !

  2. The campus is cool looking and it looks HUGE! The book of kells is there and the book of kells is really famous!

  3. Google it..They definately have a webpage..

  4. The Book of Kells is cool.  Plus there is the "Long Room"  a great spot to go see some old books, a 1916 Easter rising proclamation and an Irish harp from like St Pats time.  Cool student life, great surrounding area in and around  Temple Bar, affordable housing near by. ETC..
