Interesting Hand 2.0?

2nd hand of a small SNG, no information about the other players.

Everybody limps in, pot is around 300. Your hand is 87d. Flop comes down J 10 9, with 2 diamonds, giving you the dumb straight and the flush draw. Player UTG bets 30, you call, button goes all in. UTG player calls. What would you do? Calling would leave you with 30 chips left.

  1. You should have raised the player who bet. You already have the straight and you are working on a flush with the turn and the river remaining. You need to get the player with the higher two diamonds out or the player with the two pair. If you dont catch the flush your straight will win the pot.

It would be better to know how many are in and how they play before making this decision. I would Raise all day long on this one. What is the chance someone has the Q K for the higher straight?

  2. i think you put one too many zeros in the pot size, either that or that bet is super small

i don't know about you, but i don't fold made straights with a straight-flush redraw, so i'm calling this every time
