Interesting Premier League Stats – Part 2
We continue with our stats for the remaining 10 teams in the league, starting with the richest club in the country:
Manchester City
Yaya Toure’s goal was the result of a 24 pass move, the maximum number for a Premier League goal this season.
Carlos Tevez has scored 32 goals for Manchester City in his last 48 games. City have scored more goals on the road than any other club this season – 12 strikes put them on top of this list.
Manchester United

Wayne Rooney’s conversion rate has been only 8 percent so far this season. United’s young Italian striker managed only 10 passes and zero shots on goal in 56 minutes against Wigan athletic.
Newcastle United
Newcastle had 6 shots on goal against Bolton on Sunday and 4 of them were struck by their in-form striker, Andy Carroll.
During last 6 hours of football in Premier League, Newcastle have found the net only via Andy Carroll. This has coincided with the absence of Joey Barton.
Newcastle United have picked up more yellow cards than any other team in the league this season.
Stoke City
Stoke City have amazingly the worst first half record and the best second half record in their Premier League matches so far.

Sunderland

They are probably the comeback kings in the Premier League. They have gained a stunning 13 points from losing positions this season.
Their win against Arsenal was their first in 17 years at the home of their arch rivals.
West Brom
They have the third worst record, after West Ham and Wolves, in the league over the last 8 games.
Baggies had an amazing 65% of the ball in their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Stoke City last weekend.
Peter Odemwingie had 7 shots against Stoke but none found the back of the net.
West Ham
West Ham have conceded 16 goals against top half oppositions in their 8 games against them.
Hammers' boss Avram Grant has now spent last 12 months of his managerial career in the drop zone.
On loan signing, Victor Obinna has amassed an astonishing 30 shots on goal without scoring his first Premier League goal this season.
Wigan Athletic
Wigan have the worst record in front of the goal this campaign. They have worked the scorers only 10 times in their 14 games.
Hugo Rodallega has the 4th highest number of shots on goal in the league, after Andy Carroll, Didier Drogba and Luis Nani.
Wigan have failed to pick up a solitary point against Manchester United in their last 11 meetings. The combined score line looks pretty embarrassing at 37-4.
Wolves
Wolves have now won once in their last 13 Premier League matches. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in the last 17 Premier League games. Wolves' main front man, Kevin Doyle, scored his first goal of the season in their 2-1 loss to Blackpool last weekend.
