Interesting Scientists?? HELPP?

i need to do a science report on a scientist. Does any1 know any good ones? Please tell me their name and their "claim to fame" THANKS!!!!

Tesla is a good classic. It really depends if you want to write about present scientific developments or classical ones. But there's John Dalton, J.J. Thompson, Arthur Compton, Steven Hawking, Thomas Edison, Leonhard Euler, Galileo, Georg Riemann. Think of what science interests you the most. John Dalton, J.J. Thompson, and Neils Bohr all had different models of the atom. Newton founded the bases for classical physics. Georg Riemann is really more of a mathematician and Euler did everything, so he's more eclectic than anything else.

Einstein and relativity or Feynman who helped develop theory on wave forms. Boltzmann introduced probabilistic science before quantum physics and developed large amounts of thermodynamics and the second and third laws.
