Interesting articles on aggression

Question

I got decked by an angry g*y bashing frat boy. While several guys were beating him down for attacking me I stood up, rubbed my jaw and thought, hmm, why would he do that? Does anyone know of some interesting anthropological articles on aggression? Books suggestions would be welcome too.

pick up Daly & Wilson's 'Homicide'

hands down the best evolutionary psychology book I've ever read. it will definitely shed some light on your situation as well as aggression and homicide in general

I saw a movie where a g*y-bashing victim went to the basher's house and said "you'll have to get tested now.  I'm sorry".

Sadly, it was true in the movie.  But vengence is tempting.
