here are some of my favorite free features I get from my phone provider!!!

    Do Not Disturb

The Do Not Disturb (DND) feature allows you to disable your phone from receiving incoming calls. If your Packet8 voicemail is enabled while the DND feature is activated, all incoming calls will go directly to your voicemail. DND can be activated by simply dialing *78 and deactivated by dialing *79.

    Anonymous Call Blocking

Callers who block their identity to avoid being screened by caller ID. Anonymous Call Blocking can be enabled to send incoming calls directly to your voicemail. A modified dial tone is presented to indicate when anonymous call blocking is enabled. Simply dial *77 to activate this service and *87 to deactivate.

    Caller ID Blocking

You can prevent your phone number from being displayed by using Caller ID Blocking, a feature that is managed online from a subscriber's account page.

    Follow Me, Find Me

Packet8's Follow Me, Find Me is a call hunting feature that allows you to enter up to five phone numbers to ring in sequence. For example, you can enter your mobile phone number as well as your office phone number to ring when your Packet8 home number is not answered. When a call comes in and you are not at home, the call will cease to ring on the Packet8 home number (after ringing the assigned number of times) and then move on to ring the mobile phone. Then if there is no response there, the call moves on to ring your office number. If there is still no answer, the call can then be guided to your voicemail box.

    Simultaneous Ring

The Simultaneous Ring feature permits an incoming phone call to ring not only your Packet8 number, but also a standard PSTN number along with any other Packet8 number(s) simultaneously.

    Virtual Phone Number

A Virtual Phone Number is a second number that when called, rings to a primary Packet8 line. Virtual Phone Numbers can be from most area codes in the U.S., thereby providing enormous savings to people phoning you from that selected area code. A Virtual Phone Number essentially eliminates long-distance toll charges for anyone calling within that number's area code

  3. Hook up to EZTimeSync on your PC. I have had it on a few PC's from different shareware sites. http://www.zdnet.com.au/downloads/
