  1. Are we counting emotional problems as a sickness?  If so, the boy has problems.

  2. I think he's reasons are genuine but he needs to treat them and toughen up a little.  His fitness and stamina are part of his job as an elite athlete.

  3. if the statistics shows that he is retiring when losing then i will believe that he is making excuses it shows otherwise. often for sure you notice also that he is usually grasphing his breath, might really sick i believed.

  4. I see nothing interesting with the statistics.  Djokovic retired while trailing around 63% of the time.  I see what you mean when he retired against Chantouria and Davydenko at the Davis Cups while winning.  HOWEVER, HE ONLY RETIRED AT DAVIS CUPS WHILE WINNING.  Since Davis Cups does not count towards ranking points, there is a strong possibility that he does not care about Davis Cups.  Another interesting thing I found is the 2008 Davis Cup where he retried against Davydenko while winning 2 sets to 1.  According to my years of tennis experience, MOMENTUM and ENDURANCE are two of the crucial factors for winning a match.  Notice that Davydenko won the third set.  Again, there is a possibility that Djokovic did not have the physical stamina to finish the match and that he clearly did not have the momentum to win.  From his past experience, his endurance level is no where near players in the top ten (or even near the William sisters...lol).  Overall, although the guy could possibly be "sickly," I highly doubt it...especially when his latest excuse is sore throat, which I don't think will hinder his game as much.  AT LEAST lose like a champ and not give up like a COWARD.

  5. This guy has fought bigger wars on the tennis court than the battle of little bighorn, he fought to get to where he is.  He wouldn't be at this level if he rested on excuses like that.  NO WAY is he faking it.  No way.  He wouldn't be a top player if that was in him.

  6. i think he has sickness....

  7. Considering there a couple of instances he retired when winning is proof that he does have some problem. He retired in the matches when he was losing because he was having problems and he didn't think he had enough left in him to able to come back and win the match.

  8. DJOKOVIC NEXT #1

  9. I believe he's suffering from asthma. It's a very critical condition if attacked while playing on court coz' he may suffocate from shortness of breathe. This sickness is so susceptible to allergies from particles of the surrounding plus the heat. Let's hope he could sustain enough strength to overcome them & win more games.

  10. or the reason he is losing is because of his lack of fitness due to this "medical condition" ???

  11. ya he has trouble breathing

when i watched his games he always used to hit his chest

  12. Well according to George CHANTOURIA of Georgia's Davis Cup page it was he that retired to Novak and Serbia got the win beating Georgia 5-0 unless George threw in the towel as a favour to Nole seeing that he was sick. But for Nole to be up and retire to the #1573 in the world is bad and they didn't record it that way either.

  13. Agassi has been suffering from a very severe back pain and has to inject corticosteroids before his match against Becker at the US Open did he quit??? NO!!!, Federer was suffering from a severe leg injury against Nalbandian at the Master's Cup and was on a cast before the match did he quit??, No!!!, Even suffering from mono did Federer quit at the Australian Open even though he's losing??? NO!!!.

In fact Djokoquit's illness is nothing compared to the worse injury/illness that Federer or Agassi had!!!!.

  14. Could be...

  15. he has allergy to clay and carpet. the allergey worsens when he about to lose.
