Interesting that Cousin has become Rangers best striker, as soon as he leaves the club ?

I am not mocking anyone's opinion, but already, Cousin has suddenly became Rangers best striker, now that he is no longer with the club.

I remember a similar scenario with Hutton, Ferguson, Boumsong, Lovenkrands, etc, immediately after leaving Rangers, they became brilliant players !!

Cousin was OK but I would have Boyd, Velicka, Lafferty, Miller, Darch and Naismith in the side before him, and that's in all honesty.

How good will Aiden McGeady become, when he leaves Celtic ?

  1. I think you've become a bit dellusional.

As far as I remember, Hutton, Ferguson and Boumsong, were all very well rated as Rangers players, if not there best players when they chose to leave. I personally thought Hutton had turned into a very good attacking defender at Rangers and Boumsong was rock solid at the back for you, I've never been a fan of Ferguson.

If anything, Boumsong turned into a feckin nightmare disaster at Newcastle and Ferguson, didn't add anything to his stock at Blackburn, Hutton I hope goes on to prove us all wrong and becomes a great right back in England.

I'd have Boyd in my team before him any day of the week, he can't be thought of that highly he's went to feckin HULL!!!!!

  2. Whos cousin? Your cousin?

  3. Hutton was already extremely highly rated by us before he left & has proven he is quality by the way the spurs supporters rate him...Ferguson was thought of as quality before he left too.

Cousin has always been considered by many as our best striker in terms of actual footballing ability. It''s just his commitment that was in question, not his ability.

As for how good will McGeady become....never rated the boy, he's a sand dancer, & a once trick pony who when he leaves Scotland will be found out big time. No club will bid over 5m for him anyway, even tho celtic supporters seem to think they will get double figures.

  4. I would have kept Cousin, he certainly wasnt the "best" striker but he was a decent player.  I mean Hull???

  5. Haven't met a Rangers fan yet who considered Cousin the best striker. Don't understand some of the numpties on here at times.

And I suppose you've read somewhere McGeady is leaving Parkhead too? Where is he going? Grimsby Town?

  6. Anyone who thought he was ever one of our best strikers should be mocked!!!!

He was good at times but never one of our best.

  7. Not sure where you heard or read that Cousin was thought of as Rangers best. Sometimes we see or hear only what suits us, but I will take your word for it my friend.

For me, decent player though he is, I wouldn't rate him any better than Boyd, Darcheville or even Kenny Miller and he certainly wouldn't even get a place on the bench in the Ibrox team of a decade ago.

As for McGeady, he has the potential to be the best at Parkhead since Larsson left.

  8. read the previous post billy and replied.

Don't think he is or ever was your best striker...always thought Boyd was..just doesn't get a game..but then again he is looking pretty average against the new ones lol

  9. one person said he was your best striker i said he bullied the whole celtic defence and he was strong and powerful.you replied that lafferty or velicka could do the same job your having a bubble bath velickas strong but he no bully. lafferty, mcmanus and caldwell would eat him for breakfast...for the record i think boyds the only striker yous have..........aiden leaving celtic would be a mistake for him he could become a legend let's remember he still a young man with a lot to learn.

  10. And your point is??? Yawn
