Interesting things to do in Cologne?

Me and a group of friends are going to Cologne for a weekend. Can you give me a few interesting things to do while we're there good pubs, clubs etc. Thank you.

i come from germany, and when i be in cologne i think i want to shopping or do a sight-seeing...

And in the february you can celebrate "carneval" that is awesome!

If you just want pubs and clubs then you can get them pretty well anywhere. Why go to Cologne?

Visit the cathedral. This is worth a couple of hours. It's huge, beautiful and somehow wasn't hit by bombs in the war.

The 4711 Eau-de-Cologne perfume factory (opposite side of the Rhein from the Hauptbahnhof) does tours.

Take a river trip. The Rhein is huge and interesting.

try the club "die Halle" if you like techno music. if not then there are pubs all over cologne, you won`t have trouble finding somewhere to go.

and there is a chocolate museum - i haven't been there yet, but always wanted to go, must be interesting. i heard they got a chocolate fountain you can eat from =)
