  1. RAD syllabus?

If so, intermediate foundation is just the next grade up from grade 5 I think? It depends what syllabus your doing..

  2. I assume you're doing RAD. There are two courses you can go on in the RAD syllabus. The vocational and the non-vocational. Generally people looking for a proffesional path in ballet choose the vocational pathway.

After grade 5 RAD, there are 2 paths you can choose. That is grade 6 or Intermediate foundation, but you can do both. After grade 6 are grades 7 and 8, after intermediate foundation is intermediete and higher grades than this (inter 1, inter 2, advanced 1, advanced 2 i think..) The graded syallbus includes no pointe work (ie grades 6 7 8 have no pointe work) and are mich more dancey. The vocational grades are very technique based.

So it looks like you are doing the vocational pathway. I would check with the teacher for details.
