I am about to finish an internship at a management office. I wonder if I should sent the people I worked with an e-mail thanking them for their time etc. If yes, than what should I include in it?

They are all very busy and some are away on bussines trips so I wont have the oportunity to do it in person. I have all their e-mail addresses and I plan to keep contact with them (networking).

  1. I think it's a great idea and it makes you look good too!

You can thank them for their time and patience.  Tell them what you learned from them and what kind of an experience you had there, and what they contributed to that.  Make it personal, don't send out one mass e-mail.  For me, I would send thank you cards and not an e-mail, I think it would mean more, but an e-mail is better than not thanking them and like you said, they are busy and traveling.

You can just thank them for their time and patience with you, that you learned a lot from them and made it a great place to intern.  You can then make it more personal to that person.  Like if they were from a certain dept.  you can mention what they added to your learning experience in that department.

I think it's awesome that you're doing this, it's going to mean something to them and say a lot for your character.  It's really nice of you to do that!
