Question:

Internal PC beeping sound?

Ok, over the summer, I haven't used this pc a lot.(Windows XP) Now, I'm not exactly sure what my sibling did to my PC, but XP doesn't look like XP. Like for one thing, the bottom bar (like displays what windows you have running) is not blue normally.

Another thing, is when I'm IMing it makes an odd internal beeping sound. It's the same with any pop up that comes in, it makes a weird internal beeping sound.

Please, someone tell me what i should do to fix this. I do not want to live with this problem all year.

Thank you very much.

  1. first delete and save passwords for i.m.

reload your instant messenger software from its source.

also go to the control panel on your computer and find sounds

see if there is a mouse allowance  connection for click on sound (something like that)
