I'm extremely confused when it comes to scores of 1-7 and points 1-40. Are these IB test scores?

  1. The scale goes from 1-7. 6-7 will give you admission in most colleges and universities.

  2. 4 is a passing score on an IB exam. You take (for the entire diploma) 6 exams.

Like the person above me said, most colleges will give credit/exemption for 6 & 7's.

I believe it changes yearly, but you need a certain amount of points (mid to high 20s) to get the diploma. Also, you can get a maximum of 3 "extra points" if you get A's in both the EE and ToK essay/class, or 2 points, or 1 point, depending on performace.
