  1. You're allowed a carry on item (backpack, carry on suitcase) and a personal item (such as a purse or laptop bag).  One has to be small enough to store under the seat in front of you, and the other can be stored in the overhead.

  2. You'd normally allowed 1 carry-on but a laptop is normally considered ok in its own bag. Just to make sure you might want to check the airline's website.

  3. You are allowed to take a duffel and a laptop bag on northwest - but they have to be able to fit one in the overhead locker and the other under the seat in front of you.

The dimensions for carry on on NWA is 9x14x22 inches.

    Have fun!

  4. Each airline has its own rules for carry on- you need to check with the airline you are lfying on. Go to their website.
