Question:

International Degree Attestation - UAE?

Hi Everyone

I have a degree from Australia and require it to be authenticated as part of my work sponsorship and residency process.

I have had the degree notarised, reviewed by the dept. of foreign affairs and trade in Australia and then passed onto the UAE embassy in Australia for their stamp. I now have this document with me in Dubai.

I now understand that I require a final stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Dubai.

I visited the ministry today and the person in the initial room mentioned that I need a work visa sponsorship form as well? Can anyone explain how this works? i thought that all the ministry needs is a copy of my degree certified in Australia and 150dhs payment? I have a work sponsor who is compiling everything else.

Appreciate any help.

  1. You have to fill out a degree verifiation form Your PRO then has to submit this to the Ministry of Labor. From there it will be send to your Embassy for verification. No costs on you. This procedere belongs to the Labor and visa costs which have to be paid by the employer.

    Take care.
