The SAT which you are thinking of is different from the actual SAT which is required for admission into a U.S. university.

There are number of consultancies available in India for processing admission to US universities.No admission for international student Without SAT exam. it is need to take English proficiency exam prior to  Ist semester classes beign.

To apply to a decent US University you have to take the SAT exams. If your school doesn't offer the SATs, then you should find another place that will. Also, make sure you prepare well for the SATs because they influence a large part of the University's decision.
