I am an international student studying in a college in Canada. I have a valid study permit with the name of the college on my study permit. I now wish to change programs and study at a different college. Can I study on the same study permit or do I have to apply for a fresh study permit?

  1. Based on the information from CIC you can continue using your study permit as long as it is valid:

Here is an except of part of that information:

"However, if you are enrolled in a post-secondary program (doing studies after the high school level), you may change your school, level, program and field of studies without applying for a new study permit. You don’t need to apply for a change to the condition of your study permit either. You may continue to use your study permit as long as it is valid."
