International money orders can they be cashed????

Question

Can you cash an american money orders in another country such as china?....or would western union be best. I would like to send it money order becuase I feel more Safer but the seller said the only way to send money to china was by western union because he could not "cash international money orders in china"

In China you can cash at a US branch in China if one exists, however, this becomes internal cash and you cannot take it out again but the best is to do Western Union because its recognized in all countries of the World.

I'm not sure what your are buying from this seller but please be sure this person is trustworthy before sending any money.

I think either way you pay this person (either the money order or send the money via Western Union) the money is gone - I'm not sure why you think it is safer to use a money order.
