I am in IB and I want to go to France for university, though I am having trouble choosing whether to continue with IB or not. Well, I have heard that in US, the schools are of lower quality comparing to Canada and they have IB too. So an IB student in US would be able to get a higher mark in IB than me, right? Under equal circumstances?

Here's my question: would a Frenc school prefer an IB student with an average of 85(an A in Canada, very high for our IB courses because they're VERY difficult) or a normal diploma with a 95 on it? When it comes to reading applications, do they realize that US high schools are far easier to get through than Canadian high schools? How fond of IB are they?
