Internet Explorer Error On Favorites ....?

Well when I open up ie and click on the faves button it just give me the error message ''Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'' Well I hope you are sorry. This is ie 8 by the way also it wont load up videos on the channel 4 website witch i really want to watch because of big brother, any help ?!
