Question:

Internet Explorer Problems with Pop-Ups

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

Lately when I have been using Internet Explorer on my computer I get pop-ups that aren't blocked by my pop-up blocker. The Pop-Up will contain the search words I have used to make searches on the internet. I have scanned my computer with Trend-Micro, Spy-bot and Ad-Aware and nothing was found on my computer. When the pop-up appears, the url is either abcjump.com or jump.com and they forward to other sites. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

  1. maybe you should try some other different anti spyware programs

  2. Hey,dear~~

I think you should get rid of IE. My friends alway ask me to fix

    their crazy IE.

But, I tell them IE is not good to use. IE is unstable, error

    prone, and insecure.

U may often see IE crash like http://bit.ly/2rMsIJ

Try Firefox! Firefox is a web browser that is basically like

Internet Explorer, but actually, much faster (you see the pages

quicker) and also has a built in spell checker!

Firefox is an open source project, so many enthusiastic

programmers trace the source code every day. Thus, firefox has

    become more and more robust!

Give yourself a nice browsing experience.

    Good luck!!!!

  3. Have you done these steps>IE>Tools>Internet options>Privacy>Turn-on pop-up blocker?...Then, setting>allow...?

  4. Pop ups are really 3rd party cookies. turn these off.

In your browser Tools > Internet options >privacy > advanced; here check 'Override....' 'Allow session cookies' 'Allow 1st party cookies' and 'Block 3rd Party Cookies'.

    That will help a lot.

  5. simply use opera browser!! It avoids most of the pop ups

  6. Do a search using windows on your computer then, search for the word jump.  See what files it pulls up.

Then you may be able to delete those files manually one by one, and keep it from happening again.

Also may want to try Onecare virus protection from Microsoft, has a free 90 day trial.

I have been using it for a while and love it.
