Internet Explorer search bar missing links?

Question

For some odd reason, my search bar on my internet explorer is always missing links.

For instance, if I typed in www.mail.yahoo.com

It would stay that. instread of a long link like: www.mail.yahooughsjkgdghjdghkjg786767*^&... (something like that)

It's being doing this for sometime now. And now I've had it.

PLEASE HELP!
