Internet Free Stuff Ads?

DO they really work? Im sure we've all see them before. Get a free ipod, or get a free PS3 and Xbox 360. Just fill out these surveys and blah blah bah. Do they really work? DO you get teh merchandise they promis after filling out all the surveys and forms?

  1. While a specific company may not be trustworthy, the business model (you get something free for doing offers & referring a few people) is legitimate.

    How it works is that the offers you sign up for, surveys you fill out, etc, pay the company that is offering you the free item.  The company makes money because they refer you to these other websites and services, therefore they can purchase the advertised items for you and still make money.

    I will reiterate - not all companies that offer these things are legitimate.  You should do some research on a company (plug the company name or website URL into Google) before you get all gung-ho on something.  A legit company should showcase other members who have received the free item(s).

    Overall, though - you can get free stuff from certain companies by doing surveys, filling out applications, etc.
