Internet conection is not working?

In my house we have 2 computers a regular and a laptop. The regular computer has a wireless conector making the house a hot spot that our laptops wireless reciever should pick up to. The wireless reciever is picking up other networks just not the regular computer one.

do this, right click the wireless icon in the task bar, click view available wireless network, the one with the greener bar is yr, just click it to connect 2 it.

The router is probably running with the SSID (network name) hidden. Talk to whoever set up the router

It's normal to pick-up other networks. Just look for your the name of your network,choose it, click on (connect) and that should help!

Try power cycling your network. Turn everything off(modem, router, computers, etc.) > Wait 5 mins. > Turn on modem > Wait 2 mins. > Turn on router > Wait 1 min. > Turn on computers, one at a time. See if that fixes it?
