  1. try this start run and type cmd and enter

    type ipconfig /flushdns and enter

type again ipconfig /release and enter

type again ipconfig /renew and enter

    then you will be connected

  2. You need a new WI-FI card on the computer that doesnt work.

  3. first let me know what kind of computer is you using...if it is a loptop there has a switch device in the side for internet connection and about the wifi-- Wi fi The brand name of a popular wireless networking technology that uses radio waves to provide wireless high-speed Internet and network connections. The Wi-Fi Alliance, the organization that owns the Wi-Fi (registered trademark) brand name specifically defines the term Wi-Fi as any "wireless local area network (WLAN) products that are based on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' (IEEE) 802.11 standards."

Initially, Wi-Fi was used in place of only the 2.4GHz 802.11b standard, however the Wi-Fi Alliance has expanded the generic use of the Wi-Fi brand to include any type of network or WLAN product based on any of the 802.11 standards, including 802.11b, 802.11a, dual-band, and so on, in an attempt to stop confusion about wireless LAN interoperability.

Wi-Fi works with no physical wired connection between sender and receiver by using radio frequency (RF) technology, a frequency within the electromagnetic spectrum associated with radio wave propagation. When an RF current is supplied to an antenna, an electromagnetic field is created that then is able to propagate through space. The cornerstone of any wireless network is an access point (AP). The primary job of an access point is to broadcast a wireless signal  that computers can detect and "tune" into. In order to connect to an access point and join a wireless network, computers and devices must be equipped with wireless network adapters (See How Wireless Networks Work in the Did You Know... section of Webopedia).

Wi-Fi  is supported by many applications and devices including video game consoles, home networks, PDAs, mobile phones, major operating systems, and other types of consumer electronics.  Any products that are tested and approved as "Wi-Fi Certified" (a registered trademark) by the Wi-Fi Alliance are certified as interoperable with each other, even if they are from different manufacturers. For example, a user with a Wi-Fi Certified product can use any brand of access point with any other brand of client hardware that also is also "Wi-Fi Certified". Products that pass this certification are required to carry an identifying seal on their packaging that states "Wi-Fi Certified" and indicates the radio frequency band used (2.5GHz for 802.11b,  802.11g, or 802.11n, and 5GHz for 802.11a).

A common misconception is that the term Wi-Fi is short for wireless fidelity, however not since 1999 has the Wi-Fi Alliance (then called the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance or WECA for short) officially used or propagated the term wireless fidelity. The term Wi-Fi is a play on the term hi-fi, which is short for high-fidelity, but Wi-Fi  is not actually short for wireless fidelity. Wi-Fi is simply a brand name and a registered trademark of the Wi-Fi Alliance.

  4. What Nasrudin H says..

    Also try

    ipconfig/all

    in the console

Then you see your locale ip.

  5. Do you use the Zone Alarm firewall? If so it's probably that. Windows just released an update which conflicts with Zone alarm and basically doesn't let you connect to the internet - I should know, I was without net access for 2 days this week!. Anyway you have a few options 1)  On your ZA firewall settings there are 2 sliding bars - take them both down to "Medium" (instead of high). 2) Press start>control panel> add/remove programs> show updates then REMOVE windows update KB951748 - this is the update causing the problems with ZA. 3) I have yet to confirm this one myself, but apparently ZA have released a patch to fix the problem, so go to their site and download it.

    Good luck!

  6. If it worked earlier use system restore. Search for it if you dont know where it is on your PC. It will restore your PC to an earlier time of your choice.

  7. What "magneto" said worked for me. I knew it had something to do with Zone Alarm and a update because it randomly stopped working after an update.  Try adjusting the Zone Alarm to Medium.  It worked! Thank Magneto!!

4 turn on the router, wait for it to connect to your computer

    5 restart your computer

right click on the network icon to see if you can add a profile done on zero config set-up

  10. Sounds like you may have the problem which happened with Windows update. Have a look at the faq in the bulletin below.
