PLEASE HELP, But...
CAUTION: TECHNICAL LANGUAGE AND READING AHEAD
I love my wii, but... the internet connection is exasperating me to death! I connected it once about two months ago. Now, I'm trying again and it won't connect.
I've checked all the troubleshooting, looked online, and done everything short of hiring a person to come and hook it up for me! Did I mention that once I'm done with the connection, it has to be unhooked, as they go in two different rooms.
Here's the setup.
The SCREEN to the COMPUTER is on the desk. to the left of it is the COMPUTER itself. It in turn is hooked by a Ethernet port to the (I think it's a modem, I'm not sure. It says 'Arris' on it and, on the front, has the labels with the lights (battery, telephone 1&2, link, online, US, DS, and power)). Now, I've been unplugging the Ethernet from the computer to the modem thing, and plugging it to the LAN adapter in the wii, but it still doesn't work.
Do you have the answer, or should I hire a shady vendor to come and hook it up? If it works, ten points to whoever fixes this conundrum.
