Internet connection????

in my household we have an hp pc with comcast highspeed internet.

my dad just came up from st.martin to miami with a laptop and he's trying to make it connect. how do we go about the process of doing that?

first of all you need a wireless router and the laptop has to have wireless adapter, or you can just use any router and go through a cable
