  1. If you have cable internet (DSL) then you need a cable wireless router.

if you have phone line internet (ADSL) then you need a wireless modem router.

You don't need to go back to Rogers for a router you can buy these on the market. eg ebay: http://computers.shop.ebay.co.uk/items/N...

There are many different types of routers. The most common is wireless G with a speed of 54Mbps, but you can get all sorts of different types such as wireless N with a speed of 108Mbps - I have the most common G which is fine for a few computers on the internet.

If you get a G type router then you need a G type wireless card for the computer (if a laptop it may be built in) (Some cards can handle G and A or B - this is fine) (The card and router don't have to be from the same company)

Hope this helps, if you need more help just contact me. (Go on my profile and contact)

  2. if you only have one computer i don't see why you would need 2 go wireless. if you have more than one you can get a wireless router from rogers and they will set it up for you or you can buy one from future shop or box store and set it up yourself.
