Internet dependency, a sign or a habit?

i have friends in their early thirties that have no internet at home. they survive a whole weekend or even more without checking their emails. on the other hand, some people do most of their communications through internet.

so, is internet dependency only a habit or is it a sign of loneliness, lack of social circle or love life?

the ones that can do without it for days, are they necessarily in happy and serious relationships?

I think, internet dependency is only a habit and not lack of social circle or love life.

Those without it are not necessarily happy.

My problem was and is boredom, lack of any life...

I also have to drink beer while I am on the computer....a routine I have made habitual...

SO....I am getting another job...will work a full time and part time job.....filll up my time making money...

Play on the computer in my SPARE time...not alll the time...

Why can this Internet Dependency be a sign of one or all of them ~ all at the same time?

Surely, it is whatever it is to the individual themselves ~ as 'a sign', or as 'a symptom' of or........

It can mean and be any thing on a case by case basis. Surely! No!
