Internet disconnecting but still has great signal?

Well, my internet is being wierd. D;

I try to play an online game, or watch a video or just search the web...and almost every two minutes i get disconnected. I dont understand, because my signal is still great. Even though my internet doesnt respond and has to end the program, my signal stays strong.

This is really frustrating trying to play an mmorpg when you get dced every 2 mins. If anyone knows something I could do to stop it, that'd be great.

Btw...I'm using Windows XP and I'm using wireless high speed internet. and firefox. Could it be the weather or something? I had a storm/tiny hurricane earlier this week, but i only got rain and wind, nothing too bad. please help me. x_______x

i dont think its anything to do with hurcianes or rain,...its either you comuter and the wirless adapter or your internet proiders,..call them and ask them,..be free to ask them.

It's probably your wireless router--the signal tells you about the strength of connection to that. .It has nothing to do with the actual connection to the internet. If you connect directly to the cable it will probably work. that is what happened to me.
