Internet explorer 7 will not display web page backgrounds?

It also will not display some links, some type of text, and my email appears different in an very inconvenient way in IE7. I have to add that everything works fine in Firefox and Netscape except the very few webpages that require IE7, for instance the windows update page. Unfortunately it comes up blank in IE7. I was just wondering if there is a way to fix this problem because I need IE7 to access some webpages.

Check to make sure your computer memory isn't taken up and that you have some elbow room then you might want to email IE or find a support page.
