Internet explorer vista help!?

i have internet explorer in windows vista but when i click on it it freezes and says internet explorer is not responding..im currently using safari and firefox but some things these browsers cant do that i need internet explorer for thats why im trying to fix it..i dont know why it freezes?..is there a program that checks problems in my pc?

  1. For Vista check 'problems & solutions' in the control panel. I use the Firefox IE extension usually.


  2. You might not have enough ram to use internet explorer, but you could try Norton System Works Standard to fix any errors you may have, but check your ram first.

  3. You may have a toolbar or activeX add-on that is causing the problem. It's possible to reset internet explorer's installation. Go to options and click on the advanced tab.. you should see a Reset button at the bottom.  

  4. I dont know how to fix your internet explorer problem. But if theres a site that can only be opened by internet explorer or needs internet explorer to run you can use this firefox addon which lets you switch between if you want your page to load as a firefox page or an internet explorer page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...
