Internet explorer will not open webpages; will show address and blank page! Please help!!

Question

I open IE and it will have my homepage in the address bar but there is nothing on the page. When I try to go to a different webpage, the same thing happens.

I have tried system restore and it hasn't worked.

I have tried reinstalling IE and it hasn't solved the problem.

I can't even find IE in my list when I go to "add/remove" programs in my control panel.

I know all about Mozilla, but I NEED IE for certain websites that I use for school and work. What can I do???

ok first make sure you have something to delete virses next delete everything you dont use on your competer or laptop last go to a site what had a blank page.

I had that for a while, it was a strong Trojan horse that sent me viruses every time I went online. I had to reformat because I didn't have an antivirus.

Run yours, if the problem still persists or you don't have an antivirus then I think reformatting is your only answer.
