Internet for laptop in the woods

Hi!
I need to hook up my hp laptop to the internet when I am camping. I heard that there is some kind of card that I can buy serviced through phone providers that will enable me to establish a connection anywhere that I can get service.

Do you know what the card is called? I was told best buy sold them.
