  1. install and run "Hijack this" run the scan and locate the name of the website in the list and select it and press "Fix checked"

  2. You have been infected with a nasty malware, your security soft has failed to do it's job.

First do an online scan and clean with http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html AND http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

Now it's time to replace that miserable insecurity software that you use; download the installers for

browser - http://www.opera.com/ - use this instead that malware magnet IE

    antivirus - http://www.avast.com/

    antispyware - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

    ................. - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/downl...

    firewall - http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

They are all the best in their category and FREE.

Unplug the internet line, uninstall the junk and install these (if

necessary in safe mode) one by one with each necessary reboot done.

Reconnect the line and update them (Spybot has it manual).

That's all. Now admire how fast and safe (only if you never use IE again) your pc is.

  3. your browser is probably been taken over. do an antispyware search, which should help

  4. Ouch, that really sucks.

Go to www.download.com and get the following two free programs.

    AdAwareSE (newest version)

    Spybot (newest version)

Both will scan your computer for spyware / malware and delete it.  Once you've run both those, if you're still not clear, download a program called Avast and do a full system scan (takes a while).  That will only be necessary if you've been hit particularly hard though - AdWaware and Spybot make a really potent combo.

  5. Run either of these free scanners to fix your computer.  You definitely have some malware on it.
