Internet in Tech School dorms?

Question

In my AF tech school, pensacola NAS, will I have access to internet in my dorm? Also, will i have a kitchenette or will there be a common kitchen everyone goes to?

What about when i get to my perm. party dorms? Is there internet and a kitchen?

Well, I don't know about Penscola, but I know other Tech Schools (Lackland, Sheppard, Keesler) do not have internet in the dorms.  I'm at Lackland, and we either have to go to the main BX or the library for WiFi.  You can buy your own kitchen stuff, I have a mini fridge.  Microwave is in the day room.  You will eat at one of the Dining Facilities for food most of the time.  You can bring it back to your Dorm or eat it there.  You can also go pick up food and bring it back to your dorm from the Commissary or order food.

Eat in the dining hall. It's free, it's usually pretty good. You don't have to cook. Just get some snacks and sodas to keep in your room.

Tech Schooler filled you in correctly about Tech School.  And your base will be the exact same thing.  No free internet in the dorms, but there are usually places on base.  You can also pay for your own internet in your dorm if you want to.

No kitchen in your dorm room.  But there will be a kitchenette near the dayroom.  You'll have to keep any cooking tools in your room, though, as it's common usage.  You will have a dorm refrigerator in your room.  No microwaves allowed in your dorm room, though.

Also, make nice with your supervisor and his/her spouse.  You may get offers for dinners or they may bring dinners over to the dorm.  We did monthly dorm dinners at our last base.  Great fun for all!
