Internet keeps cutting off when a call comes through...help please?

ok so anytime a call comes through or we make one the internet cuts out could anyone offer some help as to why this would happen and how i can fix it... thank you, i'll post more info if requested

This is a simple question, I had to deal with the same thing! It is very easy to solve! When you sign up for internet, you receive things that are called filters, you plug in the phone line to them, and they are like extensions. You simply plug them into the end of the phone line for every phone related piece of equipment for your house, excluding the modem. This list includes, but is not limited to, Phones and Satellite dish boxes. Hope this helps! Fixed my prob! Oh, and the reason this problem happens is because the interference in the phone comes into contact with your modem's line, but filters get rid of that interference.

I've only ever come across this in homes where a micro-filter had not been fitted to every 'phone outlet, or in cases of a faulty micro-filter.

I have sky boradband, and even though we have a filter fitted, occasionally when we get a call the wirles internet keeps asking for passwords to view the webpages. It is very annoying, but heals itself after a while. :D

You need ADSL filters which you plug into the phone-line socket, phone your broadband supplier they give you them free.

You need to fit a filter to the phone line.

basically ur internet and ur phone are using the same line but the phone gets priority over the internet cause well its a phone....u can get things that split the connection instead of sharing it i dont know where tho sorry

you have not got broadband you have dial up so your internet is connected to your phone so every time a phone comes in it cuts off

put a dsl filter in the phone socket. simple as that
