Internet keeps disconnecting, need to reset router to fix internet. how do i fix this

Did your ISP provider reccommend this? If not call them first. You might have a Virus or Spyware.

This will only work if you have an older router/modem. Newer ones have a backup battery in them.

If you have Cable internet. Unplug all the cables (remember where they go or label them before removing). Unplug the power supply and let sit for for 1/2 hour. Insert power supply and cables and try Internet.

to reset the router u unplug the router power cord and modem power cord and keep it out for 15 seconds then put it back in and try that and do at same time
