Internet navigation getting slower and slower. Any ideas why?

Over the last few months going on the internet has become frustratingly slow on my pc. Its taking longer to visit different websites and to move around within a website. Photo-hosting sites like Photobucket and Flickr and also youtube are a nightmare. The hard drive sounds very busy while on the internet. I'm with the same internet provider as I've always been, use the same security suite, the same everything, Has the Microsoft Phishing Filter got anything to do with this?

Maybe you need to run a registry cleaner. I use two free ones. CCleaner and Advanced Windowscare Personal.

Maybe your hard drive is too full, you can try removing some programs or buying a RAM upgrade, these should speed up your whole computer in general. A good RAM upgrade site is www.mrmemory.co.uk.
