Internet not functioning properly please help!?

Hi, over the last two months my internet has been crapping out on me lately, crashing up to 15 times a day, and as of today, about 30 minutes ago, I am no longer able to connect to Ventrilo or AOL instant messenger, but I can connect to online video games and obviously my browser. If anyone can give me any insight as of what the problem might be and a solution it would be very appreciated.

there could be various possible problems with your internet. when i say various i mean hundreds!

some possible solutions:

Steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer

2. Click Tools.

3. Click Internet Options.

3. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files button, and then enable to delete offline items too, hit OK.

4. Temporary Internet Files (often referred to as "cache") is now cleared.

5. Due to the variations of browser and operating systems, these steps may differ from platform to platform.

If you still have problems, go back to Internet Options, and delete Cookies as well.

Tips:

-Try an alternative browser, such as Mozilla, Firefox, or Opera.

-Try out a cookie manager to manage the cookies you really need (most cookies are unnecessary, and a waste of space).
