Internet on computer isnt working but laptop internet works?

Question

its been working for a long time then today after shutting the computer off the wrong way by the switch i turned it back on and now the internet isnt working and also the airlink101 router is blinkin a lot on Status and wlan

i dont get why the laptop works fine and the computer isnt but when it does work its extremly slow

restart it again. then run chkdisk

Seems that your laptop is stealing the the resources, remove laptop from router, reset the router, restart pc and re-install your internet using the wizard. the re-plug your laptop

Had the same problem, laptop runs haywire on the internet, just look at you router light you will see what I mean.

have seen this question on many forums, but don't get many real suggestions as to why

Have you tried hard resetting the router?

Have you tried using RUN -> CMD -> Ipconfig /renew ?
