Question:

Internet problems with iPod touch 2.0?

Yesterday I got the brand new software update (2.0) for the iPod touch. Ever since then, I can't connect to my own internet.

Don't say that I must be entering it in wrong, or don't have a good enough signal, or am using the wrong signal, because it worked before I had the software and stopped last night.

I've unplugged my router and did the "true" reset. Still nothing.

It works with an unlocked signal I'm getting from somewhere, but that is very weak and I need to know how to make it work with my own.

My laptop is working on it and our desktop too, so I don't think our router is broken.

I just payed money to update my fully functional iPod and now the internet won't work. It's very upsetting.

Any ideas?

  1. all these problems with the iphone and ipod touch. just shows how crappy apple is!

  2. Have you tried resetting the iPod?  Or restoring it to factory settings?  Did the backup and the restore after the update go successfully?  Sometimes everything gets messed up when updating and needs to be reset.  I think you can save your programs if you factory reset your iPod with the 2.0 update.  Give that a try and see if it works!  Good luck!
