  1. wireless card

  2. A simple WIFI/PCI adapter card should do the trick.

  3. Id say to get a wireless linksys network card.  Im currently running that on my pc and it works well.  You can also get one thats wired in, and that should be a bit faster, but wiring is a hassle sometimes.  Just make sure its the same "level" card as the router is.  For example, we have a wireless-G router, so we have wireless-G cards as well.  The cards are just regular pci slot things with a little antenae on the back.  If your on the opposite side of the house consider getting a signal booster for the router if you go wireless.  Im literally a room above my router, and i already lose a bar of signal strength.  Being on the opposite side of the house i get 1 or 2 bars(i do not have the signal booster).

  4. You will need a wireless network receiver.  They can plug into the USB, or the PCI ports on your motherboard.  You don't say specifically, so check and see if your linksys box is an A/B/ or a G.  There is also N, but your linksys would have to be pretty new to have that.  G is the most common, and is backwards compatible with B, so if you can't figure out what letter it is, you should get a G.

  5. A wireless network adapter. I use a linksys one and it's pretty good. I advice getting a $40 dollar one, they're cheap and good.

  6. A wireless network adaptor.
