Internet schooling? yay or nay?

i have back problems which hold me back from being able to go to normal school. and last year i used a tutor, but i didnt feel like i really got to learn as much as i wanted too. so my next option is school online. do you know anything about this? and what are the pros and cons

I think internet schooling is a great alternative for people in situations such as yours, as well as for students in isolated areas.  The internet will allow you to go as fast as you want to, and explore a broad range of subjects.  As long as you're a person who is disciplined enough to stick to doing what you're supposed to do, I think it's a great idea.

My 17 yr old daughter uses a PA cyber school and likes it.. In fact, I think next year her 2 little brothers will be in cyber school too.. I"ve about had enough of the public school system.

yay if that is what is going to work for you. i do not beleive that you will fully gain what you need out of it, tutoring is much better, i had two and it worked for me, but everyone is different. hang in there and good luck to you. the pros are you will learn at a pace that works for you, the cons are no social interaction.

I have a really hard time with the self discipline of it. But if you can make yourself it is great!
