  1. Norton has to be the worst program you could possibly pay for. I had a virus about a year ago that Norton would not detect. So I was told about avast.com

Avast is completely free, no hidden charges, no credit card sign up, nothing. Once you download it you will email yourself a key and you put it in the program and it works for 12 months and then you do the same thing again in 12 months. Once you download it it will emmediately scan your computer and then continue scanning incoming possible threats to your computer.

The way Avast gets their money is by huge companies that have to pay for the product.

  2. nod32. No matter what version you buy. New or old. It always updates to keep you safe from the latest viruses. Also if you have Firefox instead of internet explorer you'll be even more safe. Firefox works on Mac too.

  3. The best paid for Anti Virus programs>

    Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.1.325

    Bitdefender

    NOD32

    F-Secure

    G-Data Internet Security

    Trend Micro Internet Security pro

    Spyware Doctor Internet Security

    The Shield Deluxe

    Norton 360

    CA Anti-Virus

    AVIRA paid version

    AVAST paid version

  4. Imho, these are the best security programs. Also, use Firefox instead of IE.

  5. Don't turn on the Internet and you should be right. Nah try Norton security

  6. Norton or McAfee.

    Free stuff?

Did you ever think that all the Avast, AVG, and other FREE STUFF answers were done by people just advertising?

How come there are so many questions about the FREE stuff s******g up, but very few questions about McAfee and Norton?

  7. lol above post [I MEAN TO AJ]

  8. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers.

You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
