Internet sites in Australia to advertise pets to give away???

Question

Ok so I live in Mackay QLD and am moving to New Zealand on the 26th August. I have 2 dogs that I need to find new homes for I have advertised in the local paper and pocket trader but have not had any luck finding them new homes. We don't have a RSPCA in Mackay we only have a council pound and I don't want to take them there because I don't want to risk them being put down. I was just wondering if anyone knows any internet sites I can put them on to give them away...

possibley www.petfinder.com or craigslist.com but im not sure if u will find anyone in austrailia u would probably have to charge them for a shipping fee or something like that.... Hope i helped:)
