Internet. sometimes my internet works but alot of the time it doesn't alot of web pages wont show

sometimes my internet works but alot of the time it doesn't alot of web pages wont show up fast anymore i have to click refresh alot it doesn't freeze or crash and its a new computer ,good connection ,netgear router,windows vista home prem., can someone help
