  1. Well, if you are using DSL, you need a FILTER on every phone in use in your home.!! NOT the modem line, just the phones.!!

  2. Yes, you need ADSL filters on each phone in house. If all OK then contact your phone supplier to see if they can find fault on your line or exchange.

  3. buy a phone splitter in the market....

by using these the spliter splits the 2 frequencies of Internet and phone...

    buy a good spliter......

  4. Broadband filters make sure you have them set up properly

  5. Move your microfilters about, we had that problem for a while, til we moved the microfilter.

  6. Yes you defo need a phone filter on avery phone line in the house.

  7. get callwave.com (which is only for dial-up)

but if you have cable or wifi.....then get t a phone filter for every phone in your house...! or check every micro-filter just to see if there are working properly!!

also, disconnect every phone extension in the house and leave only one phone plugged in, then do your trouble- shooting!!

  8. Make sure you're using broadband filters. Plug the filter in the phone socket and then plug the modem and the phone into the filter sockets.

  9. I take it you have a DSL rather than broadband cable. The answer is: No, there is NO fix. DSL suffers because both the internet data signals and analog voice signals compete for the bandwidth on the hard wire of the telephone line. There is interference, which results in little degradation of the analog voice but DOES result in significant data loss, which lowers your packet throughput. The DSL modem is much less forgiving than your ear. The ONLY time this happens is when people are using the phone line at the same time. Is it really THAT big a problem? Do you use your telephone SO much that this is really a significant data throughput issue? You might consider Voice Over IP (VOIP) services. DO a search for a brand name using your favorite search engine. Or consider a cable modem so your internet and telephone do not share the same pair of hard wires. I have a 256k up/down DSL and I have not experienced any problem with my internet use when I am also on the telephone. I have called my ISP help line on several occasions and we were conversing at the same time as we were running through things on my computer and I did not see anything different. I routinely converse with a friend while I am also doing things with my computer and we are discussing web pages we are viewing and such and I see nothing different in how things work, whether I am talking or not. Just because it is not something I've experienced first hand, I do know this kind of interference can happen, which also depends on the distance from your home to the main office. One last thing, make sure your DSL filters are installed in the correct places, from the wall to the telephones ONLY, and NOT in the wire from the wall to the DSL device. I have heard that a filter in the DSL line will still work but like with a radio station, it is like you tuned to one much further away with a weaker signal, which results in more  data losses and more likely to interfere with each other.

  10. use the program callwave. it tells you when someone is calling, or on the phone.
